Free Fractions Worksheets — Same Denominator, Online Practice
Adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator is the first fractions skill — and the one everything else stands on. Fresh questions every click, answers typed as a numerator and denominator, instant checking and a redo round for mistakes. No sign-up.
Free forever — no sign-up, no ads. Every worksheet is freshly generated, so the same practice never repeats. Answers are checked on your device; nothing is uploaded.
One idea, practised properly
When the denominators match, only the numerators move. These sets drill exactly that until it is automatic — the safe base before unlike denominators arrive.
Answers in two boxes
Each answer is entered as a numerator over a denominator, the way fractions are actually written — no decimal shortcuts, no multiple choice to guess from.
Print for the table
Question sheets and answer keys print separately, with name and date lines — handy for a quick morning set before school.

Build the number skills fractions stand on: addition, subtraction, multiplication — and the full math worksheets hub with word problems, geometry and the 60-second sprint.
The mistake to watch for: adding the denominators too. Two eighths plus three eighths is five eighths — the size of the slices does not change, only how many you have.
