Free forever — no sign-up, no ads. Every passage is an original story or article written for this site, with the answers kept separate until you ask for them.
Answers stay hidden
On many worksheet sites the answers sit on the same page your child is reading. Here, answers only appear when you check or print the key — so the thinking happens first.
Words to know, every time
Each passage teaches three useful words with plain definitions, in context — vocabulary grows quietly alongside comprehension.
Short, daily, done
One passage takes five to ten minutes. A little reading every day builds more skill than a long session once a week — pair it with a math worksheet for a complete daily practice.
For parents and teachers
How do levels work? Easy is Grades 1–2 (short stories, everyday words), Medium is Grades 3–4 (longer stories and simple non-fiction), Hard is Grades 5–6 (articles and stories with inference questions).
A good routine: read the passage out loud together once, let your child read it again silently, then answer. Talk about the words-to-know box before the questions if the text looks tough.
Is it really free? Yes — every passage, unlimited, no account. New passages are added regularly.
